For SDA or NOt?
YES! YES! YES! I want to recommend this type of reading material to SDA schools.
Do you believe in DARK MAGIC? Nah, be honest. Okay, We, as Christian we do believe that dark magic exist but we don’t and should not practice them for it is DARK. Now, this novel is engaging in such practices but I don’t think SDA students can’t read this type of novel. Remember, the issue in here is realistic and dark magic really existed in our realm.
There are significant lessons that our youth can gain from this novel and I am not saying it’s the potion-making. I am referring to proper selection of friends and how to be true to oneself. But because of the concerning topic it has, I suggest that 10th grader and above are the best range to grab this type of novel. Because they have a broader mindset.
